MORTENSON, a leading builder, developer, and EPC firm, seeks a Senior Superintendent I to coordinate site work across multiple complex projects in a dynamic environment.

The role requires extensive construction leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage crews, safety programs, and site logistics. Travel up to 100% is expected as projects vary across locations.

Qualifications

• Degree or longer trade experience required.
• 15+ years of construction experience.
• 10+ years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Experience with solar or large industrial power projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities and assign tasks.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials and inspections align with schedule.
• Budget, forecast, and manage labor, equipment, and materials.
• Review documents for completeness and constructability.
• Develop and update project schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate plans with engineers and clarify discrepancies.
• Lead pre-construction planning sessions and site meetings.
• Supervise crews and mentor site personnel.
• Manage resources and provide performance feedback.
• Support hiring decisions and leadership development.
