Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Senior General Superintendent - Construction to lead all field operations on major projects in Milford, CT.

You will report to the Project Executive and demonstrate a proven ability to manage teams, maintain schedules, and deliver results on multi-million dollar builds. The role requires a bachelor’s in construction management or related field, 10+ years of supervision experience, and strong knowledge of safety regulations and construction codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field; training accepted
• PMP and/or LEED accreditation desired
• 10+ years of experience supervising multi-million dollar construction projects
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and construction codes
• Familiarity with commercial, multi-family, and/or mixed-use construction projects
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Procore
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations and ensure the project stays on-track.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules using CPM.
• Ensure compliance with code and safety regulations; enforce safety policies.
• Monitor material flow and address long lead items.
• Control field office general conditions costs.
• Establish relationships with owners, inspectors, and other parties.
• Organize project records: subcontracts, change orders, permits, drawings.
• Direct and evaluate subordinate supervisors on-site.
