Job summary

Granite Construction is a national heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced construction supervisor to oversee a project on site, manage field teams and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to design, budget, and schedule.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and safety leadership, with the ability to recruit and guide qualified personnel on a demanding construction site across the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• 8+ years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience in a similar field of construction.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule and is staffed appropriately.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions and provide input with scheduling, engineering, and material control to meet project objectives.
• Supervise and direct field supervisors, superintendents and other contractors to ensure productivity, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance.
