Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an on-site Construction Supervisor to provide functional supervision of a project, ensuring work aligns with design, budget and schedule.

You will lead safety and environmental compliance, coordinate resources, supervise craft employees, and interface with on-site teams and subcontractors to deliver quality results. A high school diploma and 5+ years of construction management are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction management and/or craft supervision in a similar field.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, devices, and safety policies.
• Strong communication, organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction to ensure work is built per design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and manage resources to meet project objectives.
• Oversee craft employees to ensure productivity and quality of work.
• Interface with subcontractors and on-site teams to resolve issues and keep schedules.
• Enforce Granite safety programs and environmental policies.
• Assist in developing work plans, procedures, and standards.
