Consolidated Edison Company of New York seeks a Senior Construction Specialist to lead multi-discipline construction initiatives, ensuring safe, on-schedule, and within-budget execution. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, review 100% drawings, and support bid and contract processes.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, environmental awareness, and proven leadership in large-scale construction projects within the energy sector. NYC-based, with field oversight responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years full-time field construction, construction management, project management or site superintendent experience.
• Associate's Degree and 6 years full-time field construction, construction management, project management or site superintendent experience.
• High School Diploma/GED and 8 years full-time field construction, construction management, project management or site superintendent experience.
• Extensive knowledge in Construction Management.
• Experience in review and implementation of contract specifications, drawings, scheduling, and planning.
• Knowledge/experience with environmental work and remediation.
• Supervisory/managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to policies and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide field support and contribute to construction package development.
• Develop high level milestone schedules and assist in budgeting.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for funding, scheduling and site logistics.
• Lead bid package development, Q/A tracking, and contract clarification processes.
• Oversee field visits, progress updates, and turnover activities.
