Job summary

Harper Limbach is seeking an experienced on-site Construction Supervisor in Florida to oversee day-to-day construction activities, supervise foremen and field labor, including subcontractors, and ensure timely, profitable project completion. The role requires strong safety focus, coordination of schedules, cost control, and adherence to drawings and specs.

Must have 5+ years in construction execution, OSHA, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in construction execution.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Current OSHA Certification.
• Working knowledge of project management software programs.
• Strong decision making, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and Google products.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships and communicate with diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and contracts, subcontracts, and PO terms.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation/assembly of project schedules and resource requirements.
• Reviews plans/specifications and develops execution strategies to reduce risks and costs.
• Schedules, coordinates, and supervises field labor to meet quality, schedule, budget, and safety.
• Plans and supervises craft activities including manpower, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
• Evaluates performance of employees and subcontractors and initiates corrective action.
• Enforces safety and company policy compliance.
• Maintains liaison with stakeholders to ensure drawings/specs/schedule compliance.
• Resolves construction problems and ensures progress through daily site walk downs.
• Monitors project performance and controls costs and resources.
• Participates in training and development of staff.
