Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a Construction Services Supervisor for a full-time role in our Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia offices. You will manage and mentor staff, oversee inspectors, and lead CEI project efforts across transportation, water, and related sectors.

The ideal candidate brings an engineering degree (or equivalent experience), 3+ years in the field, and proven ability to supervise teams, manage costs, schedules, and proposals, while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• If no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality.
• Leading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures.
• Conducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skills.
• Assisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning.
• Providing project management and supervision for CEI projects.
• Managing business development opportunities and client relationships.
• Ensuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followed.
