Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Scheduler to oversee the Scheduling group on a Ashburn, VA project. You will develop full CPM baselines, monitor progress, and coordinate with Preconstruction, Procurement, and Construction teams to keep the project on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced scheduling tools, and the ability to translate contracts and drawings into actionable schedules. Travel and site presence will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field.
• 8+ years of related scheduling experience on large construction projects.
• Scheduling certifications (AACE, PSP, PMI-SP) preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and scheduling analysis tools.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications to build schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling team and manage project scheduling on one or more construction projects with varying size and complexity.
• Develop and maintain CPM baseline schedules and monitor progress against baselines and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Procurement, and Construction to prepare detailed schedules and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Integrate BIM/4D models and Last Planner System into the construction schedule.
• Conduct monthly progress updates with narratives and prepare look-ahead schedules.
• Provide scheduling expertise to BD and BU pursuits and contribute to scheduling contract language and documentation.
