Job summary

Austin Commercial is actively seeking a Scheduler for the Austin, TX Division. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed schedules for multiple commercial construction projects, coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has strong scheduling experience, excellent communication, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6. Some travel may be required, and the position is based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering, construction science, architecture, or relevant discipline preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Generally requires 6 to 8 years of scheduling experience; some field experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction materials, means, and methods.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and scheduling software.
• Thoroughness and reliability.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains project schedules for multiple commercial construction projects.
• Reviews subcontractor and vendor schedules for alignment with project timelines.
• Prepares detailed schedule deliverables and presents to senior staff and clients.
• Leads scheduling meetings with project staff and subcontractors to drive adherence and recovery.
