Job summary

ENGICON CM is seeking an experienced project controls professional in Los Angeles to coordinate and review project schedules across large construction programs. The role involves analyzing time impacts, reviewing contractor progress, and supporting cost-related decisions on capital projects.

The candidate will perform earned value analyses, participate in change orders, and ensure schedule integrity across multiple sites with flexible travel.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software and MS Office Applications (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling.
• Experience with time impact analysis and construction claims/change orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies.
• Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance.
• Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule.
• Perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims.
• Participate in change order negotiations.
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
• Identify schedule related problems and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions.
• Review contractor’s weekly and monthly schedule progress and present findings to management.
