Job summary

Dynalectric Washington, DC, seeks an experienced Construction Scheduler to plan, execute, and deliver large-scale electrical projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, identify risks, and collaborate with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and field leadership to drive successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has CPM scheduling experience and can communicate schedule impacts to internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction experience.
• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or comparable scheduling platforms.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline project schedules from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Create and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
• Analyze critical path activities and identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, foremen, clients, and general contractors to validate activity durations and sequencing.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules based on field production and changing job conditions.
• Prepare schedule recovery plans and impact analyses when delays occur.
• Track milestones, procurement activities, material deliveries, commissioning activities, and turnover requirements.
• Generate schedule status reports and communicate schedule performance to project teams and leadership.
• Participate in project planning meetings, production meetings, and owner/GC schedule reviews.
• Assist with schedule-related claims, change order support, and delay analysis.
• Develop workforce loading projections and manpower forecasts.
• Support implementation of scheduling best practices across multiple projects.
• Assist in developing company-wide scheduling standards and templates.
