Senior Construction Scheduler - Battery Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support project controls on a large-scale factory retrofit into a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing plant. The role involves overseeing scheduling, planning, and coordination to ensure project success within timeline and budget constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and update the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Manage schedules related to battery retrofit projects.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and basis documents for approval.
  • Conduct resource loading and leveling.
  • Consolidate contractor schedules into IMS.
  • Ensure integration of battery systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor and report on retrofit activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Interface with stakeholders, providing guidance and recommendations.
  • Maintain liaison with clients and consultants.
  • Assess impacts to critical and near-critical activities.
  • Monitor deviations and variances, developing corrective actions.
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology.
  • Review schedules regularly with team members.
  • Prepare progress reports, charts, and analyses.
  • Record scope changes and variances affecting schedule performance.
  • Ensure credibility of schedule data.
  • Adhere to SOX controls where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6-7 years of experience in mechanical project management, especially HVAC and large-scale construction.
  • Experience with battery retrofit projects and integration solutions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Fluency in Korean is advantageous.

Salary range: $150K-$175K per year, depending on experience and qualifications. On-site presence requirements may vary based on client needs.
