Job Description

Job Title: Senior Construction Scheduler

Work Location: Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal)

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager during the interview

Requirements: Must be a US citizen and pass a federal background review and drug screening

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform as-built schedule analysis for contractor requests for equitable adjustment and claims to determine impact on construction schedule in support of construction management activities related to federal government projects
  • Create and implement Critical Path Method (CPM) Baseline Schedule with the latest version of Primavera P6
  • Update monthly construction schedule with narratives and progress analysis
  • Ensure contractor schedules logically plan the work, clearly identify activity sequence and contract milestones, and predict completion dates
  • Provide an accurate as-built record of the project’s progress from NTP to final acceptance; assess the reasonableness of schedule durations, cost loading, activity coding, and work breakdown structure
  • Participate in monthly schedule review meetings with the client and contractor to review and analyze progress; produce and analyze project schedule reports utilizing Primavera
  • Perform schedule impact analysis for modifications and produce schedule impact reports
  • Create schedule fragnets for change order documentation
  • Analyze current and future workload using the latest version of Primavera P6
  • Provide manpower resourcing reports
  • Analyze contractor schedules and advise the client on the acceptability of schedule revisions
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of scheduling experience with large federal government construction projects
  • Experience with the latest version of Primavera P6 software, including 01 32 01.00 10 (Project Schedule)
  • Experience using RMS 3.0
  • CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certifications
