Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) seeks a Construction Safety Professional to oversee site safety on construction projects. You will partner with General Contractors and subs to implement robust safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably with a General Contractor.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Experience in fast-paced construction sites; complex projects preferred.
• Knowledge of high-risk activities and incident investigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety resource to general contractor, subcontractors, and project team.
• Mentor, coach, and train field personnel on OSHA standards and company policies.
• Promote a positive safety culture through engagement with workers and site leadership.
• Lead safety meetings and support daily/weekly/monthly safety programs.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard identification with corrective actions.
• Lead pre-task planning, JSAs, permit programs, and incident investigations.
• Facilitate new hire orientations and toolbox talks; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and metrics for leadership.
