Job summary

C.A. Murren and Sons is seeking a Lead Safety Manager to oversee safety processes across construction projects, ensuring compliance and driving a culture of injury-free work. You will mentor teams, coordinate safety programs, and report progress to leadership.

The role requires extensive field work, travel up to 4–5 days per week, and strong experience in excavations, confined spaces, and fall protection, with a track record of improving safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• CHST Certification preferred.
• 12 to 15 years of construction safety experience, including DOE projects.
• Experience leading at least three direct reports.
• OSHA 500, 510 required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and safety assessments; address and resolve issues.
• Provide safety training and education to personnel.
• Coordinate safety programs and plan risk mitigation.
• Participate in investigations of incidents and near misses.
• Complete accident investigations and root cause analysis.
