C.A. Murren and Sons is seeking a Lead Safety Manager to oversee safety processes, enforce compliance, and train personnel across Southeast and Mid-Atlantic construction projects. You will collaborate with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to drive an injury-free environment.

The role requires extensive field inspections, incident investigations, and leadership in developing safety strategies. Travel up to 4–5 days weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• CHST certification preferred.
• 12–15 years in construction Safety with 6–8 years on DOE projects.
• Experience leading at least three direct reports.
• Travel up to 4–5 days per week required.
• OSHA 500 and 510 required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED instructor or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Expertise in excavations, confined space, traffic control and fall protection.

Responsabilités

• Conduct project site inspections and safety assessments to support teams.
• Provide training and education on safety requirements.
• Coordinate safety programs and plan risk mitigation across sites.
• Participate in investigations of incidents and near misses.
• Complete accident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Identify hazards and build mitigation plans for future projects.
• Schedule and deliver safety training on sites and regional offices.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and report to leadership.
