Responsibilities

• Safety resource for jobsites in Jackson, MS for water and commercial projects.
• Develop and implement safety training programs including Competent Person classes.
• Identify safety training needs and provide training.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings and review site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct safety assessments to track trends and ensure compliance.
• Assist Project Management in developing site-specific safety plans.
• Coach project team on safety leadership and management practices.
• Review Safety Task Assessments for improvement feedback.
• Conduct equipment training and evaluations.
• Deliver safety reports.
• Conduct documented safety walks using KPA EHS software.
• Investigate incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Assist injured employees in risk management.
• Set up clinics and hospitals before the job starts.
