Job summary

Infinite Consulting Corp is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to support the Safety Director across construction and infrastructure projects in the New York City Metro Area. The role emphasizes formal audits, regulatory compliance, documentation, training, and corrective action management to keep projects audit-ready.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with agency safety requirements, construction safety regulations, and developing safety programs for multiple clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction safety, safety compliance, or safety auditing.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and NYC construction safety requirements.
• Demonstrated experience conducting formal safety audits.
• Strong written documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret contract language, agency safety manuals, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal safety compliance audits across all projects using agency safety manuals and site plans.
• Prepare, manage, and close out audit documentation and corrective actions with CAPs and risk assessments.
• Fill in on-site when needed.
• Enforce and improve Quality Control Program and conduct regular safety audits for compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, forms, and workflows for safety performance.
• Support the Safety Director in implementing company-wide safety programs for clients and agencies.
• Prepare, review, maintain safety documentation (SSP, JHA, AHA, toolbox talks).
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Serve as liaison between field personnel, subcontractors, and leadership on safety matters.
• Support consistent communication of safety expectations across projects.
