Job summary

Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture in New York is seeking a Construction Quality Manager (CQM) to lead quality management on the Manhattan Tunnel Project. You will implement CQMP and serve as the primary field quality representative, ensuring compliance with contract documents, approved drawings, and owner requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years experience in quality management, quality control, field engineering, or construction inspection on heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of CQMPs, ITPs, and quality documentation requirements.
• Experience with concrete, deep foundations, shafts, tunnels, and temporary works.
• Proficient in reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and design revisions.
• Knowledge of ACI/ASTM codes and project-specific quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer the Construction Quality Management Plan (CQMP) and support the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Coordinate project quality activities with field operations and project management.
• Monitor compliance with contract documents, specifications, approved submittals, RFIs, and design revisions.
• Support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform field inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, testing agencies, and laboratories; maintain quality documentation.
