Job summary

Haydon is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC processes on major construction projects, ensuring work meets project requirements, design intent, and code compliance. This role collaborates with multiple departments to develop and implement Haydon’s Quality Management Plan and to promote a culture of quality across sites.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 7+ years of commercial construction experience, and a track record of leading quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or quality management capacity.
• Proven success managing quality programs for large vertical projects.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, inspection/testing protocols and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Quality Leadership to align with corporate standards.
• Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans (QMPs) with QC measures.
• Coordinate with project executives to set measurable quality objectives.
• Lead quality preconstruction reviews for constructability and specs alignment.
• Provide oversight and guidance to project teams and Quality Coordinators.
• Conduct field audits, inspections, and quality walk-throughs; issue findings and recommendations.
• Facilitate root-cause analysis of non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Safety, Risk, and other departments to reduce rework and warranty claims.
