Persons Services Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Manager for our Contractor Group in Houston, TX. You will lead quality assurance across welding, fabrication, and field operations, conduct trend analyses, root cause analyses, and develop KPIs for executive review.

Key duties include managing welding QA, reviewing RFQs/RFPs for quality, supporting training, and guiding procurement on third-party services.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in quality control and/or the construction industry, including supervisory and leadership.
• Current CWI Certification.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3 piping codes.
• Knowledge of Pressure vessels and boilers – ASME BPVC NDE (PT, MT, RT).
• Advanced communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to influence quality culture within PSC and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Management of all welding aspects; welder testing, welder tracking, and weld procedure development.
• Function as quality liaison between the field and the client as assigned.
• Assist the project team with QC packages, procedures, checklists, etc., for welding, fabrication, inspection, and operation activities.
• Provide ongoing weekly progress updates.
• Assist with nonconformances investigations.
• Assist with Root Cause Analyses as assigned.
• Identify voids in our quality system regarding technical procedures and processes.
• Perform project audits to ensure compliance with the quality control program.
