Job summary

ManpowerGroup (USA) is seeking a Construction QA Manager in Houston, TX to lead the site QA program on large industrial projects. The role coordinates with construction, engineering and commissioning teams to ensure quality objectives are met and nonconformances are addressed with robust CAPAs.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of quality experience on major projects, 5+ years in QA leadership, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide diverse QA teams while upholding QA/QMS

Qualifications

• 15+ years in quality on large industrial projects.
• 5+ years in QA leadership or site quality management.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and project quality requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of QA/QMS and construction codes and standards.
• Proven ability to investigate, trend, and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site QA program across planning, surveillance, audits, inspections and verification activities.
• Direct, mentor and evaluate discipline QA leads and inspectors to ensure standards are met.
• Serve as the primary QA interface with construction management, engineering, commissioning and contractor teams to communicate status.
• Oversee identification, documentation, trending and resolution of nonconformances with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review and approve quality documentation packages, audit reports and turnover deliverables for compliance and accuracy.
