Qualifications

• Five (5) years related experience as a Project/Construction Manager in the structural steel industry.
• Thorough knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.
• General knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes.
• Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings.
• Proven ability to manage several large, commercial and industrial projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals and job scope plans to determine time frames and resources.
• Ensure all contractual terms and obligations are maintained.
• Manage project costs and obtain budget approvals as needed.
• Interface with departments and subcontractors to schedule work and materials.
• Maintain documentation and prepare periodic management reports.
