Job summary

Tusco, Inc. in Alabama seeks a Construction Project Manager to organize, manage, and plan complex projects for our Physical Security Division, coordinating with clients, engineers, and architects to define scope, schedules, and budgets.

The role demands five years of project leadership, bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. PMP/CCM/DBIA and MS Office proficiency are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Five+ years of experience managing construction projects.
• PMP, CCM, DBIA, CQM, ACI or comparable certifications desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of field personnel and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Delegates work based on expertise, experience, and time constraints.
• Visualizes project scope with clients, architects, and engineers; develops jobs and materials lists.
• Leads project teams to complete constructions within budget and schedule.
• Manages contract negotiations, revisions, and adherence by all parties.
• Addresses delays, weather, or emergencies at sites and mitigates risks.
• Maintains relationships with owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and vendors.
• Plans and directs activities for construction and maintenance of structures and systems.
• Performs cost analyses and prepares budgets and change orders as needed.
• Upholds safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
