Job summary

Saint Paul Public Schools is hiring a full-time Construction Senior Project Manager for its Facilities planning department in St. Paul, MN.

The role leads planning, design, bid processes and contract administration for multi-million dollar projects within time and budget constraints. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in construction or project management and 8 years of related construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management or closely related field.
• Eight years of experience in educational, institutional, or commercial construction.
• Experience developing multi-million dollar facilities planning projects and documents.
• Experience managing to scope, schedule and budget for mid- to large-scale construction projects.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in updating the Facilities Master Plan and maintains a Facility Condition Assessment database.
• Assists with estimates and scopes of projects and coordinates with internal resources and external consultants.
• Develops complex project cost estimates and feasibility analyses.
• Interfaces with accounting, procurement, and project management software.
• Plans and manages projects from design through completion within timelines and budgets.
