Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking a Project Manager for its Phoenix team to own projects from inception through closeout. The role offers opportunities to oversee planning, budgeting, and coordination across owners, design teams, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of construction project management experience, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from inception through completion.
• Oversee estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
• Support contract negotiations and proposal preparation.
• Work closely with owners and design teams during early project development.
• Develop accurate project estimates.
• Participate in owner proposal meetings and provide value-engineering ideas.
• Lead jobsite meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Organize and manage multiple project activities while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
• Make informed decisions under deadlines and proactively resolve project challenges.

We’re partnering with a well-established national general contractor to hire a Project Manager for its growing Phoenix team.

This is a great opportunity for a construction professional who wants to take ownership of projects from initial concept and preconstruction through execution and closeout. The company works across a diverse range of project types and is open to candidates from a variety of construction backgrounds.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage construction projects from inception through completion
• Oversee estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project execution
• Support contract negotiations and proposal preparation
• Work closely with owners and design teams during early project development
• Develop accurate and complete project estimates
• Participate in owner proposal meetings and provide value-engineering ideas
• Manage subcontractor selection and the project buyout process
• Lead jobsite meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders
• Organize and manage multiple project activities while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations
• Make informed decisions under deadlines and proactively resolve project challenges

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of construction project management experience; multiple experience levels will be considered
• Design-build construction experience is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with owners, design teams, field leadership, and subcontractors
