Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects from planning to commissioning, ranging from $5,000 to $500,000. You will focus on strong client relationships, project controls, and delivering on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field and at least five years of multi-project experience, with a PMP preferred. You will coordinate with subs, manage bids, and ensure energy efficiency and long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to construction or equivalent PM experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in construction with emphasis on multi‑complex, fast‑track, and phased project delivery.
• Strong organizational skills and problem‑solving ability with high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet corporate and project goals.
• Excellent verbal, pictorial, and numerical communication skills.
• Business acumen with understanding of profitability and market dynamics.
• Superior negotiating skills and a personable negotiator.
• Leadership demonstrated by inspiring others and influencing decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and tact in diverse situations.
• Proficient in SharePoint, MS Office, PowerBI, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple client projects from inception to completion, including scope and budget definition, bid documents, and budget reconciliation.
• Coordinate value engineering, bid solicitations, contract awards, schedule management, and submittal reviews.
• Lead meetings, manage utilities shutdowns, inspections, progress reports, and change orders.
• Ensure projects deliver functional design, energy efficiency, reliability, and long operating life.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting and scheduling with strong written and verbal communication.
