Job summary

The Gallegos Corporation in Denver, CO is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate masonry, plaster, concrete, and stone work across multiple projects. You will lead scheduling, budgeting, safety, and coordination among foremen, superintendents, vendors and owners.

Requirements include a construction or engineering degree (preferred), 3–5 years of related experience, and proficiency with MS Office, ProCore and Sage 300. OSHA 30 and English proficiency are expected; Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
  • Technical knowledge in construction, estimating or project management required
  • 3-5 years of equivalent work experience and/or trade school
  • Ability to review job site blueprints
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
  • OSHA 30 and Competent Person certifications and Incident Investigation training
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, ProCore, Sage 300
  • Working knowledge of English; bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest standard of safety on projects at all times
  • Collaborate with pre-construction department on handoff and budget development at project start
  • Maintain detailed schedule for manpower, equipment, cash flow and risk management
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders through SIP scheduling for tools, equipment, materials, and manpower
  • Ensure Foreman adherence to SIP, Daily Huddle, and toolbox talks
  • Participate in exit strategy and post-job review processes
  • Plan with Superintendent, Foreman, and Subs; interpret specs and coordinate construction phases
  • Review change documents, generate change orders and takeoffs
  • Collaborate with Accounting/Job Costing to set up budgets
  • Conduct weekly Bird Reports and monthly Budget Analyses; monitor cost-effective purchases
  • Monitor employee performance and participate in disciplinary decisions
  • Ensure project documentation minimizes risk and escalates issues as needed
  • Develop and maintain client relationships; track new leads and communicate with leadership
  • Participate in estimates for labor, materials, and sub costs for bids
  • Model company mission and values; supervisory responsibilities included
