Job summary

GMi is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of assigned projects from turnover to closeout, mentoring PMs and maintaining strong client relationships. The role focuses on profitability, safety, and quality, leveraging deep knowledge of GMi procedures and construction practices.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and coordination with General Contractors and internal teams to ensure projects meet milestones and contractual

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in managing multiple drywall/construction projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certification (completed or enrolled).
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Experience in project buyout and cost control.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from turnover through closeout ensuring safety, on schedule, within budget.
• Manage project buyout and align contracts, specs, scope with budgets.
• Oversee financials: percent complete, audits, trend analysis, budget alignment.
• Review contracts, approve POs, COs, vendor selections, invoices.
• Prepare SOV, monthly billings, change orders, closeout docs.
• Develop and manage quality control plans and field audits.
• Enforce safety standards with Safety Director.
• Lead kickoff meetings with internal teams and GC to align scope and milestones.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment with Operations and Field leadership.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and assistant PMs.
