Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead day-to-day management, create project plans, and coordinate stakeholders. You will drive risk management, monitor schedules, and ensure safety on active sites while fostering inclusive teams.

This role requires an engineering/construction degree and 4+ years of GC experience, with strong leadership and contract knowledge. You’ll manage contracts, permits, and reporting, and play a key role in winning new work through proposals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
• Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.
• Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors.
• Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results-driven, adaptable, team player, ethical, innovative.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, engineers and designers.
• Drive a culture of safety on the project site.
• Support the company’s acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations.
• Recruit and develop project team; identify and hire outstanding people.
• Exceed stakeholders' expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goals.
