Newmark is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction-focused projects from scope definition through closeout. You will guide budgets, schedules and stakeholder alignment while coordinating cross-functional teams across disciplines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in technical area of study – preferably in Construction, Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years related project management experience. Construction management experience required.
• Industry related licenses or certificates – LEED AP and/or PMP preferred.
• Knowledge and extensive work experience in the field of Project Management and/or Construction Management.
• Understanding and knowledge of necessary regulations, in the areas in which work is being performed, to ensure compliance.
• Must be able to lead and communicate, in writing and orally, effectively within all organizational levels.
• Must be proficient with business standard desktop software and scheduling tools.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain clear understanding of project scope from end users and client, including high level details before kick-off.
• Guide client on realistic budgets and timeframes based on scope, inputs and market conditions.
• Build and lead a team through all phases of each project per client process and guidelines.
• Engage stakeholders to capture project requirements in scope and timeline.
• Manage project finances, budget approvals, PO releases, track commitments, and invoices.
• Prepare, update and manage project budget cash flow forecasting monthly.
• Review documents in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing domains; provide industry knowledge on materials, installation methods and project controls.
• Review field conditions and provide consultative knowledge based on field conditions.
• Provide project reporting for client and team and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain a filing system documenting all project activities per client processes.
• Control OAC meetings, site visits, punch-list walkthroughs and vendor access for oversight.
• Address complex real estate challenges in a timely manner.
• Coordinate project closeout with O&M manuals and as-builts; hand over to planning/archive and leasing teams.
• Document and share lessons learned related to project specifics and client processes.
