Job summary

Bound Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a New York–based role with projects across the Tri-State area. You will lead diverse interiors, mechanical, civil, and utility projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

Qualified candidates have 5–7 years of experience, proficiency with Procore and MS Project, and a hands-on leadership style. The position offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
• 5–7 years of construction experience.
• Experience in interiors, mechanical, civil, or utility services.
• Strong leadership and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, budgets, scope changes, and other project documents using Procore.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders & Vendors throughout the project.
• Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to report on project progress.
• Communicate project risks and propose mitigation strategies proactively.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the project team.
• Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project.
• Oversee construction progress and ensure updates are documented and reported.
• Expertly interpret and manage construction drawings and documentation.
• Outline and submit specifications as required.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project scope and delivery methods.
• Apply knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards to ensure quality and safety.
• Negotiate and manage prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements while protecting financial interests and fostering positive client relationships.
• Manage the design process to ensure timely delivery of quality and budget-conscious documents.
• Lead and supervise a small to mid-sized team, ensuring effective and independent work.
• Create and validate financial forecasts for upcoming project activities.
• Develop bid packages and solicit proposals as per client policies.
