MPI, a Westchester-based general contractor, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the building process through completion. The role requires leadership of the project team, coordination with architects and subcontractors, and strict control of schedule and budget.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial construction, a degree preferred, OSHA certification preferred, and proficiency with project management software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to entire project team
• Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
• Build and maintain rapport with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
• Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
• Manage budget and financial reporting; interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
• Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions
