Job summary

Beaver Excavating Co. in the Pittsburgh, PA area is seeking a goal-driven Project Manager/Estimator to lead the planning and execution of assigned projects.

The role collaborates with project superintendents, owners, engineers, and construction managers to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget results. You will develop schedules, manage subcontractors and suppliers, prepare bids, monitor costs, and mentor project staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in the construction industry required.
• Previous field experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning and execution from start to finish.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, and construction managers.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with Beaver policies.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and costs, manage change orders.
• Mentor subcontractors and project staff to meet goals.
