Job summary

Trane in Richmond is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multi-million dollar construction, energy services, and HVAC controls projects. You will own project financials, administration, and customer satisfaction, and serve as the primary contact for stakeholders while guiding project development to deliver total solutions.

You will coordinate with sales, validate scope and schedules, manage change orders, supervise subcontractors, and drive on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Construction PM.
• 5–10 years of construction project management experience.
• General contracting license a plus.
• Experience with project schedules / PM software.

Responsibilities

• Support sales with quotes, proposals, and project development.
• Validate scope, cost, and schedule via contracts and meetings.
• Manage change orders and pricing across streams.
• Maintain customer relations and communicate progress.
• Oversee subcontractors, RFQs, and subcontracts.
• Manage cash flow, forecasted costs, and backlog reviews.
• Create and maintain project schedules and critical paths.
• Ensure compliance with contract clauses and regulations.
