Job summary

PC Construction seeks a Project Manager to lead notable Vermont projects, from resorts to university facilities and distribution centers. You will ensure contractual requirements, safety, budget and schedule goals are met while thriving in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Ideal candidates have five+ years of construction PM or assistant PM experience and demonstrate strong leadership and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and CM partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects as a project manager or assistant project manager.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedule, safety plans, and lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Meet all contractual requirements and ensure work conforms to plans and specs.
• Manage project budgets and cash flow.
• Build and maintain relationships with owner, architect/engineer, CM, and partners.
• Ensure the project schedule reflects construction plan and progress.
• Foster effective communication and information sharing.
• Manage staffing plan and forecast personnel needs across all phases.
• Oversee procurement to meet scope, pricing, and schedule.
• Develop and execute a quality control plan.
• Promote site safety and address project safety needs.
• Embrace Lean practices and participate in work plan activities.
• Mentor and coach project team members.
