Job summary

GO Contracting is seeking a Project Manager to oversee 5 to 7 active commercial interior projects from turnover through closeout in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will manage schedules, crews, procurement, and communications with general contractors to protect margins and keep work moving.

You bring 4+ years of project leadership in interiors (framing, drywall, ceilings) and a track record of independent decision‑making.

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing commercial interior projects or 3+ years as lead or foreman in framing, drywall and ceilings with PM-level responsibility
• Direct experience with metal framing, insulation, drywall, finish and acoustical ceilings
• You read commercial plan sets and specifications independently, including wall type assemblies, RCPs, finish schedules and details
• You have identified, priced and submitted change orders yourself, and can explain how you priced the labor
• You have directed field crews and held them to a standard
• You have run more than one active project at a time
• You document as a habit, without being asked
• Comfortable with 4 to 5 overnight trips per month for out-of-region projects
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record
• OSHA 10 minimum
• Experience substitutes for a degree here. We care what you have run, not where you studied.

Responsibilities

• Read full project plans and raise RFIs before field problems
• Maintain a 1-week and 3-week look-ahead schedule aligned with GC schedule
• Direct GO crews and sub crews, ensuring production, quality, site conduct, safety compliance and daily reporting
• Procure and track materials per schedule, verify deliveries, and return for credit at demobilization
• Manage GC relationship as the primary contact and provide weekly summaries
• Monitor gross profit against sold scope, price changes and obtain authorization before work
• Keep our project management system updated daily
• Oversee closeout with prompt punch, customer sign-off and reconciled materials
