Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience managing new construction commercial real estate corporate interior projects.

You will support the Project Lead to ensure client objectives are met through effective project management, maintain document control, and liaison with clients, consultants, end users and authorities at all stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction management experience delivering commercial real estate projects.
• Experience in the consulting realm is a plus.
• Self-motivated, great communicator, problem solver, organized and efficient.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Scheduling and/or cost estimation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Lead to ensure client objectives are met through an effective Project Management service.
• Assist Project Lead to ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and completed on time.
• Assist Project Lead to ensure service delivery on commissions aligns with appointment conditions.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
• Monitor and document project progress and other performance indicators.
• Provide document control assurance and lead management of project information flow.
• Prepare Project Management progress reports and other key documentation for clients.
• Provide a key interface across stakeholders, liaising with clients, consultants, end users and authorities.
• Support project planning, including the detailed project delivery charter.
• Support the establishment of effective project governance, processes and systems.
• Lead elements of project scope and engage cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables.
• Manage the flow of project information between team and client, including meeting minutes.
• Manage change control processes and tracking of requested changes, quotations and approvals.
• Monitor overall project finances.
• Identify opportunities to improve PM processes, templates, and products.
• Ensure awareness of quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
• Conduct background research and benchmarking, presenting findings to the team.
• Knowledge management — input key information into internal databases and share.
