Job summary

Executive Alliance in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Construction Project Manager with experience in commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use builds. You will review issues, own project paperwork, and conduct frequent site visits to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This permanent, on-site role offers a salary range of $140,000 to $200,000 per year plus opportunities to lead a project team, negotiate subcontracts, and ensure safety compliance. PMP or OSHA certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
• Knowledge of construction procedures and project management.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoDesk Build preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review issues timely if/when they arise and develop proactive solutions
• Own the paperwork portion of the project
• Frequent/daily visits to project job site
• Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, Subcontractors, Vendors, etc. to meet the demands of the project
• Develop scopes of work utilized for the procurement of subcontracts
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Determine required resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Lead the Project Team through collaboration and leadership skills
• Hire Subcontractors/Vendors and efficiently allocate responsibilities
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards
• Monthly requisition processing
