Job summary

CPM Builders N.A., LLC in Doral, FL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-end commercial retail construction from pre-construction to closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a related degree, 5+ years in commercial construction PM, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Experience managing commercial retail projects, preferably high-end or luxury.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Senior Project Manager to lead commercial retail construction projects and ensure successful execution, quality, safety, budget control, and on-time completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial retail construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and field personnel.
• Supervise project teams and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Monitor project costs, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
• Identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client expectations.
• Travel to project locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, or a closely related field (required).
• More than 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Experience managing commercial retail construction projects, preferably high-end or luxury retail.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.
• Ability and willingness to travel as necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tenant improvements, retail build-outs, and renovations in active shopping centers or malls.
• Experience managing accelerated construction schedules and overnight work.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management tools.
