Job summary

Build Group in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Tenant Improvement and/or commercial construction.
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ability to read construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Know and comply with all building codes and regulations, maintaining safety and quality.
• Manage relationships with internal and external parties to determine project specifications and resolve conflicts.
• Establish project schedule and delegate tasks based on staff strengths and experience.
• Secure and allocate resources including permits, licenses, materials, and equipment.
• Negotiate changes to contract scope, schedule, and costs.
• Plan and execute inspections, assess compliance and quality, minimize risk.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Monitor and report on compliance, quality and productivity to supervisors.
• Lead the team, build synergy, and develop individuals.

Education
