Job summary

Essex General Construction, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and coordination of complex construction projects. You will manage the Project Engineer and support the Project Superintendent to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires strong knowledge of commercial construction, excellent communication, and the ability to oversee preconstruction, procurement, and closeout activities with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or related field.
• Ten or more years in the commercial construction industry.
• Five or more years of direct commercial construction project management.
• CSI: CDT, CCCA preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate job startup activities and submittals.
• Develop and maintain the master schedule with the Project Superintendent.
• Monitor subcontractors, suppliers and labor performance.
• Prepare and track change proposals and PCOs.
• Assist with project closeout procedures and documentation.
