Essex General Construction, Inc is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Superintendent and Project Manager on an assigned project in Lake Oswego, OR. You will handle daily activities, gather and distribute information, and communicate effectively with the team.

The role requires a construction-related degree or equivalent experience, strong writing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Professional certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and distribute RFIs; maintain RFI log.
• Process, review and distribute submittals; maintain submittal log.
• Maintain job files and as-built drawings.
• Distribute schedule with Superintendent input.
• Assist with change requests and backup documentation.
