Job summary

Engtal in Chicago, IL is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from subcontractor award through turnover, collaborating with office staff and field Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

You will lead activities with the Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors; develop and maintain detailed project schedules; manage submittals, RFIs, and procurement of materials and equipment; oversee RFIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of construction project management experience.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software such as MS Project.
