Job summary

IAPMO Group in Milwaukee is seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from subcontractor award through final turnover. The role collaborates with office staff and field Superintendents to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include leading activities with subs and engineers, maintaining schedules, handling submittals and procurement, and overseeing RFIs and drawings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction project management experience.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all project activities alongside Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Manage submittals, shop drawings, and procurement of materials and equipment
• Oversee RFIs and drawing revisions throughout the construction process
• Monitor project costs, including change orders for both subcontractors and owners
• Coordinate with public and private utilities as needed
• Facilitate meetings with owners, architects, and key stakeholders
• Provide regular progress reports to leadership and project partners
• Manage punch list completion and project closeout documentation
