Roles/Responsibilities

The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects from start to finish, collaborating effectively with Owners, Architects, Superintendents, and Subcontractors. Delivering a quality product at project completion is critical. This role also involves estimating and bidding projects when necessary.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager and/or Estimator (minimum 15-25 years)
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a challenging, fast-paced environment with frequent priority changes
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and analyzing plans and specifications
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and vendors for project success
• Mentorship skills for Project Management Staff
• Experience creating, maintaining, and tracking construction schedules (Microsoft Project preferred)
• Supervisory skills for submittals, logs, and related documentation
• Experience requesting and tracking Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Ability to review value engineering options
• Experience preparing and tracking change orders
• Ability to prepare detailed cost estimates covering all project aspects, including quantity take-offs, detailed estimates, line items, and subcontractor summaries by division
• Skill in evaluating subcontractor/vendor proposals for scope accuracy
• Negotiation skills for subcontractor scopes, pricing, and purchase orders
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Problem-solving skills to resolve issues during construction
• Resource determination skills (Manpower, Equipment, Materials)
• Procore experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
