Job summary

OPOC.us is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for complex construction projects in the Indianapolis area. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure client satisfaction from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities include coordinating estimates, safety compliance, and contract administration while mentoring junior staff. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive construction management and field supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients to assess scope and resourcing needs.
• Lead preconstruction activities including estimates and cost analyses.
• Ensure project objectives align with safety, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Direct and manage on-site teams to meet design intent and budget.
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks impacting schedule or cost.
• Represent the company in project meetings and negotiations.
• Oversee financial aspects: cost control, forecasting, billing, cash flow.
• Mentor and develop junior project staff.
• Optimize labor and material utilization across projects.
