The Hagerman Group in Louisville is seeking a Senior Project Manager for commercial construction to lead high-impact projects from planning through close-out. You will build trusted client relationships, mentor teams, and balance schedule, budget, quality, and safety to deliver outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have 14+ years of progressive experience, strong client-facing skills, and a deep understanding of construction means, contract administration, and risk management.

• Extensive experience managing complex construction projects with accountability.
• 14+ years of progressive construction experience including leadership roles (PM/APM/Project Engineer).
• Strong client-facing skills with track record of repeat business.
• Deep knowledge of construction means/methods, contract administration, and risk management.
• Financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Excellent communication; ability to lead meetings, resolve conflict, and present clearly.
• Collaborative leadership style that motivates teams and values field expertise.
• Familiarity with AIA contract documents and project administration best practices.
• Commitment to safety, integrity, and quality in all work.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work between office and project sites.

Responsabilidades

• Lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning schedule, budget, quality, and safety results.
• Serve as primary contact for Owners and design partners; build trust through transparency.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Superintendents, Accounting, and Field teams for smooth startups and execution.
• Review contracts, drawings, and specs to define scope, risks, and responsibilities.
• Develop and manage project plans, logistics, schedules, and procurement strategies.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor selection aligned with project requirements and safety standards.
• Facilitate job progress meetings to track milestones and resolve issues.
• Monitor job costs, approve invoices, and manage financial performance against budget/forecast.
• Champion proactive safety culture; enforce safety programs on each jobsite.
• Guide closeout activities including punch lists, warranties, O&M manuals, lien waivers, and final docs.
• Mentor project staff with feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Support business development by strengthening client and industry relationships.
