Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH in Marietta, GA seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex construction and material handling projects valued at $50M+. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage risk and financial performance, and serve as the primary customer interface to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive project management experience on medium to large construction/material handling projects.
• 10+ years of experience in the construction/material handling industry.
• Strong leadership to unite and motivate project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assume administrative, contractual, technical, and financial control of assigned projects.
• Organize and lead the project team; supervise and mentor Project Managers (levels 1 and 2).
• Preserve integrated system design to meet performance and technical specification requirements.
• Manage the project master schedule to achieve timely completion of contracts.
• Provide monthly project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring strong relationships and clear communication.
• Lead multi-disciplined teams and subcontractors, managing conflict, establishing priorities, and coordinating concurrent activities.
• Promote effective collaboration among departments and foster team development.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Travel as required, including extended periods during commissioning and acceptance phases.
• Manage project cash flow and deliverables against price/time curves, exercising overall profit responsibility.
