Job summary

Walbridge is seeking an experienced construction leader to direct large-scale projects in the United States. You will oversee all construction activities, manage budgets and schedules, and interface with clients, A/E teams, and subcontractors to deliver safe, quality outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination across teams, and a focus on safety and compliance with company policies. This position offers growth opportunities within a global construction firm.

Qualifications

• 4 year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience.
• Extensive (minimum 10 years) experience in commercial construction activities, design, finance, and management.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, end users, security, etc.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy; plan, coordinate and supervise activities of all project personnel.
• Monitor/control construction through on-site supervision to ensure scheduling and budgeting adherence; authorize requisitions and change requests.
• Ensure all policies and standards are followed; interpret them as required.
• Maintain official project log and documentation; support safety program implementation; guide planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interests while maintaining client relations.
• Assume additional responsibilities as directed by regional management.
